Mighty Mouse wore a flowing red cape, flew through the air, and deflected bullets off his oversized chest. When coming to the rescue, he entered the scene by singing "Here I come to save the day!" The villain Oil Can Harry often threatened Mighty's girlfriend Pearl Pureheart.
After
Mighty Mouse Playhouse ended, the Mighty Heroes shared a half-hour cartoon show with Mighty Mouse. The Mighty Heroes, created for Terrytoons by Ralph Bakshi, were five clumsy superheroes — Strongman, Cuckooman, Ropeman, Tornadoman, and Diaperman.
